Lung Screening

While the imaging process is lightning-fast, there are a few things you can do to make your visit to the clinic run smoothly.

We know that proactive health checks like a lung screening can sometimes cause a bit of anxiety, so we focus on the things that actually matter. From supporting eligible Adelaide patients through the National Lung Cancer Screening Program to keep out-of-pocket costs down, to taking the time to have a reassuring chat and explain just how fast and painless the low-dose CT scan is. We’re proudly independent and dedicated to offering top-tier, compassionate preventative healthcare that is Built for Australians.

The Core Difference

About Having a Lung Screening

A proactive, non-invasive Low-Dose CT (LDCT) scan designed to capture highly detailed images of your lungs to detect respiratory issues or abnormalities as early as possible.

What is a Lung Screening?

National Lung Cancer Screening Program

Core Radiology proudly supports the Australian Government's National Lung Cancer Screening Program. Please discuss your eligibility, smoking history, and any respiratory concerns with your referring GP prior to booking to see if you qualify for this supported health pathway.
