General X-Ray

We value your time just as much as your health. To help your visit to Core Radiology run seamlessly, here are a few quick things to keep in mind before you arrive.

The Core Difference

We know that needing a general X-ray can sometimes be a bit stressful, especially when you are in pain and need answers fast. That’s why we focus on what matters most to our South Australian community: walk-in appointments, zero wait lists, and accessible bulk billing to keep your out-of-pocket costs down. Whether it's a suspected fracture or a chest X-ray, our local Adelaide team takes the time to make you comfortable. We’re proud to offer fast, top-tier, compassionate healthcare that is Built for Australians, right here in South Australia.

Having a General X-Ray

A quick, painless diagnostic test that uses a very small amount of radiation to capture high-resolution images of the dense tissues inside your body, such as bones, joints, and the chest.

What is a X-Ray

What happens during my x-ray (How is it performed)

You will stand or lie flat between the X-ray machine and a digital detector. Our radiographer will gently position you and ask you to stay perfectly still (and sometimes hold your breath for a few seconds).
